Save the date postcards have become very popular and are a great way to tell your guests well in advance when and where your wedding is going to be. These should be sent out months before the wedding invitations so they can plan ahead to keep the date free. Especially important if you have decided to have your wedding during a busy holiday period or planning a wedding abroad and want to give people extra time to plan.

Just make sure every person who gets a save the date card also gets an invitation!
